Perfect for a solo writer's retreat

I’ll tell you this, the shower in my room was the highlight, new and sleek glass design, built for 2 but I was all alone. The staff were friendly and left me alone too, perfect for focusing on my thoughts.

It wasn’t a bargain, but I’d say it was acceptable.

Just a heads up, the WiFi was spotty, which can be a bummer when you're trying to plan your next food adventure. But honestly, with good eats around, it didn't dim my experience too much.

I had such a lovely stay! The location was perfect, just a short hop from the ferry terminal The room was cozy and clean, with comfy beds that ensured a good night's sleep. A hot shower to kick off my mornings. I also loved the little touches like the coffee maker ready to go for an instant caffeine fix!

However, there were several issues, a leaking toilet, a malfunctioning Jacuzzi tub that smelled bad and lacked hot water, and the noise from upstairs was quite bothersome. The kitchenette was poorly equipped, lacking a stove, and there were few electrical outlets available. This place could benefit from significant improvements to justify the price.

The overall cleanliness left something to be desired. we found sticky floors and hair in the bathroom, along with old, worn bedding that made for an uncomfortable sleep. Additionally, the bathroom layout was awkward, with a door that barely opened due to hitting the shower wall. Some appliances were either broken, like the coffee maker, or left unclean, such as a used filter in the machine, which is surprising for any place claiming to provide basic amenities. There were also issues with the electrical sockets being quite loose, making for a frustrating experience when trying to plug in devices.
